Hida Beef is a Japanese Black beef brand that is considered top class in Japan. It is produced mainly in the Hida region of Gifu prefecture.
The Japanese Black cattle are fattened for at least 14 months in Gifu. The beef undergoes strict inspection, and only products qualifying for the A/B 5th, 4th, and 3rd meat quality grades established by the Japan Meat Grading Association are permitted to carry the brand name.

In addition to the high quality meat characteristic of Japanese Black beef, Hida Beef has: 1) just the right amount of fat for tenderness and rich flavor, 2) vibrantly colored meat, and 3) no unnecessary, excessive fat. It is popular as a classy brand of beef with a rich aroma.




Hida Beef has also won the Prime Minister's Award and the Top Carcass Award in the "Wagyu Olympics," an event where many Wagyu producers congregate.

In order to spread the Hida Beef brand overseas in the United States and Europe, our company was also authorized by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare as "a facility permitted to handle meat for export."

ISO22000/FSSC22000 certified. Scope of certified activities: Processing cattle and beef (carcasses, cuts, organs, etc.)
In addition to the Hida Beef label, a certificate clearly indicating the meat quality grade, producer's name and address, individual identification number, and market opening date is issued with each carcass at the time of sale.

Our meat processing facilities contain production equipment like large slicers and refrigerated slicers, large vacuum packaging machines, skin packaging machines, quality preservation equipment like industrial freezers, and safety equipment such as highly sensitive metal detectors and X-rays to detect foreign objects.
