The history of the Amato Family is linked to a few men, skilled liquorists and ingenious artisans who from 1881 until today, have handed down from father to son the passion for stills. In 1997 an old copper still dating back to the early '900 and which had been shelved by Gaetano Amato, the founder of the distillery, for almost 80 years was put back into operation. In the meantime, Giuseppe Amato obtained a Master's Degree in Grappa Sciences, qualifying as a Master Distiller,
thus obtaining all those technical skills to operate in the production of artisan liqueurs in Striano, Salerno and Napoli. La Distilleria Amato guarantees its customers the tradition and passion that make it one of the best Italian distilleries.
Tradition and Passion make Distilleria Amato one of the best Italian distilleries.
