Born in the Morainic Hills
Our origins are unique as the territory on which Cantina Ricchi was born is unique. The fascinating etymology of the name RICCHI dates back to the Latin language, RICHINUS was a wild and difficult area to cultivate. Even as far back as 1815, the 27 poles called I RICHI were classified as Zerbi, that is, arid and sterile fields. The classification that would have dissuaded anyone from investing in these hills did not hinder the foresight of Enrico Stefanoni, great-great-grandfather of the current property, who planted this sweet hill with vineyards, obtaining the excellent wines that today make Cantina Ricchi a corner of paradise.
