GPRS wireless water meter belong to high-tech smart water meter, using of advanced wireless transmission technology. It transmission metered information of conventional mechanical water meter to cloud server via GPRS.
GPRS AMR water meter is a combination of GSM wireless access technology and Internet packet switching technology.
Automatically read the metering data via wireless remote network and control the close / open of the valve, and is also able to transfer the data to the back-office system (data center) after reading the meters by wireless handset reader.

·Reading Frequency:The reading mode of GPRS water meter system is passive reading. The default reading frequency of water meter is 3 days. Reading frequency 1 time per day is acceptable.

1. How long is the battery life?
Using the ER26500 battery with a capacity of up to 9000 mAh and the frequency of reading the meter once a day, the battery life can reach 8 years.
2. Waterproof rating?
This water meter adopts completely encapsulated and sealed technology. It uses silicone to package the circuit board part, and the battery plug and socket are also sealed to achieve IP68 protection.
3. Can your product run underwater?
This product can be soaked in water, but soaking in water will affect the stability of signal transmission, because it will greatly affect the signal transmission in water
4. If the valve cannot be closed or opened, how to find and deal with it?
If the valve is blocked by sand and gravel flowing into the pipe, the program in the water meter will try to perform the on-off valve action within 40 seconds.
If the valve cannot be switched normally, the water meter will give up the command and return the fault data to the platform.
On the platform, you can easily view the relevant information of the water meter.

Communication and service platform
1. Does GPRS wireless water meter need a concentrator or a collector?
No, because the GPRS wireless water meter uses the existing GPRS communication tower for data transmission, which is similar to the signal transmission of a mobile phone.
2. What data can the platform collect from the water meter?
Currently, our platform can collect cumulative flow, battery voltage, upload time on the water meter
3. How does the concentrator transmit data?
The concentrator needs 220V power supply and uses GPRS to transmit data to the PC platform.
4. How about the transmission distance?
The data uploaded by the GPRS water meter is not affected by the distance under the GPRS signal.
5. How do you know that the water meter is faulty and there is no data to return?
First, we can check the alarm function on the platform to see if the water meter has no data returned, and then check the installation environment to see if there is any obvious damage, and can actively trigger the water meter to turn on-line mode.
6. Is the platform free? Can I pay in advance?
It is free, and the administrator can charge the amount in advance
