Beryllium Copper c17200
Cube2--C1700 (CDA 172) Beryllium Copper is the most commonly utilized Copper Beryllium alloy and is notable for its highest strength and hardness compared to commercial copper alloys. C17500 alloy contains appr. 2% of beryllium and achieves its ultimate tensile strength can exceed 200 ksi, while the hardness approaches Rockwell C45. Meanwhile, the electrical conductivity is a minimum of 22% IACS in the fully aged condition.C17500 also exhibits exceptional resistance to stress relaxation at elevated temperatures.

Uses of Strips : Highly used in Electrical Relay Contacts, Switches & Parts, Connectors, for a reliable contact. Also used in Automotive connections and Aerospace Systems for its high thermal Stability. Sizes Available: 0.08 mm onwards in Width: 200 mm.

Uses of Rods : Highly used in Components. Low maintenance bearings and bushings. Rugged resistance welding gun structural components. Core pins and other inserts for plastic molding and metal die casting. Various diameters available.

Uses of Bar : Resistance welding application. Antigalling wear plates. Guide Rails and Bus Bars; Machine threaded fasteners; Resistance welding application.

Uses of Tube : Resistance welding application; High Deflection, strong instrument tubes such as bourdon and pitot types, bearings for aircraft landing gear and pivoting members; Long life tri-cone drilling bit bushing; pressure housing for precision magnetometers and other instruments.

Uses of Plates & Rolled Bars : Heat tolerance moulds for plastic injection systems; Structural components in electrical resistance welding; Galling resistance wear plates and colled chilled plates for computer memory devices; damage resistance non sparkling tools.
