Common Problem Solving
1. No output, the fuse is normal
This phenomenon indicates that the switching power supply is not working or enters a protection state. First, measure whether the startup pin of the power control chip has a startup voltage. If there is no startup voltage or the startup voltage is too low, check whether the startup resistor and the components attached to the startup pin are leaking correctly. At this time, if the power control chip is normal, go through the above Inspection can quickly find the fault. If there is a starting voltage, measure whether the output end of the control chip is high at the moment of power-on and the short-circuit jumps. If there is no jump, it means that the control chip is broken, and there is a problem with the peripheral oscillation circuit element or the protection circuit. Check the peripheral components again; if there is a jump, the switch is generally defective or damaged.
2. The fuse is burned or fried
Mainly check the large filter capacitor on 300V, the diodes of the rectifier bridge and the switch tube, etc., the problem of the anti-interference circuit will also cause the fuse to burn and become black. It should be noted that the fuse caused by the breakdown of the switch tube generally burns out the current detection resistor and the power control chip. Negative temperature coefficient thermistors are also easily burned with fuses.
3. There is output voltage, but the output voltage is too high
This kind of failure usually comes from the regulation sampling and regulation control circuit. The DC output, sampling resistor, and error sampling amplifier such as TL431, optical inverter, power control chip and other circuits together form a closed control loop. Anything that goes wrong will cause the output voltage to rise.
4. The output voltage is too low
In addition to the low-voltage output caused by the voltage-stabilizing control circuit, there are also some reasons for the low output voltage:
<1> Output voltage rectifier diode, filter capacitor failure, etc. can be judged by substitution method.
<2> The decline of the performance of the switching tube will inevitably cause the switching tube to fail to conduct normally, which will increase the internal resistance of the power supply and reduce the load capacity.
