OFF GRID dc power air conditioner DC48V SOLAR AC

If your power source is native 48VDC (or -48VDC) as part of a telecom or off-grid solar application, solar air conditioners are your most efficient cooling choice. DC48 air conditioners can substantially reduce power supply/generation costs and battery requirements. An all-DC system means you get the advantage of extreme high efficiency without the need for inverters.

WORKS OF DC INVERTER Technology

It starts with the compressor which uses 95% of the power consumed by an air conditioner. In all ultra-high efficiency AC-powered mini-split units, household electricity enters the air conditioner and passes through a rectifier, a component that converts the incoming Alternating Current (AC) to Direct Current (DC). The DC current passes through a frequency driver which applies power to the motor. The frequency of the power determines the output of the motor, which can be digitally managed to precisely control the motors speed. Because DC power can be used more efficiently, all of the highest efficiency AC-powered heat pumps and air conditioners on the market use DC powered compressors.

OFF GRID dc power solar air conditioner DC48V SOLAR AC DESCRIPTION:

The 48V DC Powered Solar Air Conditioner System

DC Powered Indoor unit
One reason that a DC Air Conditioner makes the best use of solar power is because there is no loss associated with converting DC power from solar panels into AC power to run a standard air conditioner.

100% DC Powered Outdoor unit
Using standard solar panels which produce native DC power, the 48V DC air conditioners
avoid the inefficient addition of an "inverter" that converts solar DC current into AC current.

DC Brushless fan motor
We use 48V DC brushless fan motors for both indoor and outdoor units. DC brushless fan motors can greatly reduce energy consumption, and run with super low noise. Plus, the use of a brushless permanent magnet motor driver provides a variable frequency drive that allows the system to dynamically adjust its capacity based on conditions.

Solar Panel
We suggest you to connect 4 or 6 pcs 260W-320W solar panels to drive each solar air conditioner. Both mono-crystalline and ploy-crystalline solar panels can be accepted.

MPPT Solar Charge Controller
A Solar charge controller protects the whole system and provides stable power supply.

Battery
Batteries are the energy bank to reserve energy. We recommend you use 4 x 12V deep cycle gel solar batteries Depending on the system selected and the hours of battery operation you require, you can select the AH of your batteries.

FAQ

1.What is a BTU?
(British Thermal Unit) A unit in which we measure heat.

2.What does a 2-ton hybrid air conditioner mean?
This is also a unit in which we measure the hybrid air conditioners ability to cool. There are 12,000 BTU's per ton so 2 tons X 12,000 BTU = 24,000 BTU capacity.

3.What are the different types of air conditioners?

CENTRAL hybrid Air Conditioners - Central hybrid air conditioning units will cool a large area by using an air distribution system. The most common application is to add a central air conditioning unit to an existing forced air furnace. The air conditioner unit (condenser) is placed outside and is connected to the evaporator coil, inside the furnace's ductwork.

VARIATIONS - Attic installations. In some warmer areas central air units may be installed with their own ductwork. In these cases a blower coil is used to circulate air through the ductwork. The ductwork can be installed in the basement or attic.

SPACE Air Conditioners - Window or room air conditioning units are designed to cool a small room only. Usually these units are placed in a window and are removed after the Air Conditioning season is over. Sometimes window air conditioners can be permanently installed through a wall.

4. What do I do if the refrigerant is leaking out of my air conditioner?

Turn your air conditioner OFF.
Call your service contractor immediately.
Refrigerant leaking is no simple matter. Gone are the days when it was more economical to just add more refrigerant to the unit and ignore the leak. Today it is against the law to knowingly allow an air conditioner to leak, and it is also very expensive.

5. Is it necessary to have my hybrid solar air conditioner maintained regularly?

Absolutely! Annual maintenance on your air conditioner can mean big savings on your Air Conditioning bills. Some studies have shown that proper annual maintenance can save you up to 30% on your energy bills. A well maintained unit will also last longer and break down less, saving you more money in the long run.

When choosing a contractor to perform your tune-up there are some things you should keep in mind.
Can the contractor service your entire system? Having one contractor for your heating and one for your Air Conditioning system leads to confusion.

Make sure you get a written checklist of the work performed.

A comprehensive tune-up should take an hour to perform, anything less and you may not be getting value for your money.

Ensure that your contractor is licensed to work with refrigerants. Most states and provinces now require that technicians take special refrigerant training.

In addition to professionally performed annual maintenance you also play an important part in keeping your system operating efficiently by making sure your furnace air filter is kept very clean. A dirty filter will affect the efficiency of a central air conditioning system much quicker than a furnace. Clean or change the filter regularly!

6.What is the life expectancy of a hybrid air conditioner?

Life expectancy is one of those things that will vary widely from location to location. Obviously an air conditioning units in warm climates will probably need to be replaced more frequently than units in cooler climates. How close you are located to the ocean will also be a factor.

Generally speaking units in cooler climates tend to last 15 to 18 years. In warmer climates the range is usually 11 to 15 years. Of course you are going to find exceptions to these numbers, but these can be used as a general guideline.

FAQ

Q: How many solar panels do I need to run your on-grid hybrid solar air conditioner?

FADI SOLAR: Min. 2 panels.

Q: Do you have DC 48V 100% off grid inverter solar air conditioner?

FADI SOLAR: Yes, we have. Please check with our sales.

Q: Can I use standard solar panel to connect with your on-grid hybrid solar air conditioner?

FADI SOLAR: Yes, just the normal standard solar panel, you may purchase anywhere.

Q: Can I run your on-grid hybrid solar air conditioner without solar panel?

FADI SOLAR: Yes.

Q: Does it have to be connected to main power?

FADI SOLAR: Yes, the system design requires a main power connection. It gets up to 80-90% of its power from solar during sun hours and gets the rest of its power from grid-supplied power.

 Q: Does it need batteries?

FADI SOLAR: No, the system does not need batteries. Any shortage of solar power, such as at night, is made up for by pulling the power from the normal AC power supply.

Q: Is it convenient to install your on-grid hybrid solar air conditioner unit?

FADI SOLAR: Yes, exactly like the normal air conditioner, standard MC4 solar and connectors and cabling can be used to connect the solar panel directly to the unit.

Q: How big room can your on-grid hybrid solar air conditioner unit heat/cool?

FADI SOLAR:

It depends on many factors, but you may refer as below:

 9000btu roughly 18 sq.mt

12000btu roughly 23 sq.mt

18000btu roughly 35 sq.mt
