PE sheet: English name High Density Polyethylene, Chinese: Polyethylene sheet, PE sheet is a kind of high crystallinity, non-polar thermoplastic resin. The original HDPE has a milky white appearance and a semi-transparent shape in a thin section.It has excellent resistance to most of the characteristics of life and industrial chemicals. Certain types of chemicals can cause chemical corrosion: for example, corrosive oxidants (concentrated nitric acid), aromatic hydrocarbons (xylene), and halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride).
Applications for HDPE Sheet
HDPE Sheet is an engineering plastic well suited to the food industry where low friction wear and buffer strips on food production lines are important. HDPE Sheet is also important within the water industry and HDPE Sheet is found in most areas of this industry, because of its very low moisture absorption and good chemical resistance.
