Origin of thick film heating tube 
The thick film heating technology is new type of heating technology which is developed mainly by DuPont and Heraeus in 1990s. They developed the electronic paste can be used on the stainless steel substrate firstly. Using screen printing technology to print and sinter dielectric layer, resistance layer, silver conductor layer and isolation glazes protective layer on the stainless steel, so as to obtain a new type of heating element.

Thick film constitution 

Using the technology of silk-screen printing and high temperature sintering, the surface of stainless steel tube was covered by sinter orderly dielectric layer, resistance layer, silver conductor layer and isolation glazes protective layer.

1)What's the lifespan of thick film heating tube / thick film heating element?

It can work more than 10,000 hours, in case of no DRY HEATING.


2)How do you make sure it's safe for user?

It is printed with isolation dielectric layers on tube surface, and through drying firing process with 800°C for each layer. The Silver Conductor and Thick Film Electric Heating Circuit are printed on the isolation layers, then covered with one more isolation protective layer.It can be equipped with Thermostats and plastic shield, to prevent OVER HEATING.

3)What's the inlet and outlet diameter?

Thick Film Heating Tube: Ø18, Ø20, Ø30, Ø35, Ø40 and Ø50mm;

Thick Film Heater Element: Ø10mm, Ø16mm and G1/2''

Other inlet and outlet diameter can be customized.


4)Can I DIY it for personal use by myself?

Our products are mainly used as heating elements for water heaters in mass production, not recommended for Personal DIY.

5)How to install Thick Film Heater Tube/Element?

Thick Film Heater Element is required to vertical mounted, and avoided to horizontal or inclined mount.

That's to prevent DRY HEATING in partial area caused by horizontal mounting, inclined mounting and vapor return.


6)How to get the suitable model for our application?

We need to know the water temperature in inlet and outlet port, the water flow rate, connection port requirements and other special requirements.

7)How about MOQ?

The MOQ is 1000 pieces for standard product. We can discuss together for the special product.
