low melting point Potassium Fluoroaluminate KAlF4
From the reaction of anhydrous hydrofluoric acid and aluminum hydroxide to produce fluoroaluminate, then react with potassium hydroxide at high temperature, filter, dry, melt and crush. It can also be prepared by the reaction of aluminum fluoride, ammonium fluoride and potassium chloride.
Used as an insecticide, also used in ceramics, glass industry and aluminum brazing.
Used as aluminum alloy industry flux, and aluminum alloy magnesium removing.
Used as enamel of emulsifier.
Used for glass casting.
