Packing & Delivery

Bubble Wrap & Corrugated Paper Packaging

Product will be packed inside foam, corrugated box & 70 GSM bubble sheet. Corners will be covered with foam. Then strip will be placed on product in order to make packaging stronger. Stickers and markings will be added as per requirement.

Double Corrugated Paper Packaging

Product will be packed inside foam & double corrugated box. Corners will be covered with foam. Then strip will be placed on product in order to make packaging stronger. Stickers and markings will be added as per requirement.

Carton Packaging

Product will be packed into foam & corners will be covered with foam. This will then be placed inside a master carton. Stickers and markings will be added as per requirement.

1. Do you ship to my city & country?

2. What is the estimated delivery time? 

a. Production TAT (Turnaround Time)

- For Domestic: On average, 3 weeks (+/- 1-week depending on order volume)
- For International: 30 working days after receiving the advance payment. 

b. Shipping TAT: 

- For Deliveries within India: 3 to 8 business days 

- For Export Deliveries outside India: Please contact us and we'll let you know exact shipping times to your country

3. How much do I have to pay for delivery? Are there any additional charges? 

Shipping charges are borne by customer and depend on volumetric parameters & delivery location. Shipping charges are on cost-basis (you pay for delivery charges levied by shipping agents). 

If you have a shipping agent of your choice, we'll be happy to work with them. All charges are communicated upfront and transparently. FurnitureRoots does not levy any markup or hidden charges.

4. Can I track my order? 

Yes. Once your finished products are loaded we will email you details of tracking number & shipping partner's contact and website. Type the tracking number into Tracking section of shipping partner's website or give them a call to track your shipment in real-time.

5. What if I receive a damaged product? 

We work with specialized packaging service providers & implement our own benchmark QC measures that ensure that the product is received by you in mint condition.

In case you receive a damaged product, please bring it to the notice of delivery personnel immediately. In case you notice an issue later, please get in touch with us on our client-care number above or write to us at business(at)

Our team will assess the damage and revert within 48 hours with a solution. We will either replace the piece or take any other corrective measure to solve the problem.

a. In case of transit-related damages like chip-off or scratches which are resolvable at client's location, we usually suggest you take help of a local carpenter and rectify locally. FurnitureRoots will pay the repairing charges directly to you. This way you will not have to wait for the replacement and related paperwork

b. In case of major damage FurnitureRoots will replace the product completely with one-side shipping charges borne by FurnitureRoots.

6. A note on taxes: All government charges specific to client's geography like taxes, entry charges etc. will be borne by customer.

1. What are the payment terms for order? We follow Industry-Standard Terms for orders wherein payment is made in two parts. 1) Advance Deposit of 30%-40% is required for order confirmation & production, & 2) Remaining Payment needs to be made once finished goods are packed and ready to be shipped.

For International orders
We comply with global standards of shipping and banking for all our orders.

Goods will be loaded either as a factory stuffing or at facilities of nearest ICD (Inland Container Depot in jurisdiction of Jodhpur Dry Port Authority) upon receipt of remainder of payment and the original bill will be sent to you. Any payments made to FurnitureRoots are handled by and fall within purview of HDFC Bank - FurnitureRoots' banking partner. HDFC Bank is India's largest bank & thus offers you safe & convenient channel for international payments under international banking norms.

FurnitureRoots ships only through experienced & reputed shipping partners. However, should you want us to work with a shipping agency of your choice, we will be happy to work with them.

2. What payment options do you provide? 

We support the following payment options:

a. For Domestic Payments: 

i. Internet Banking (including NEFT, IMPS, or RTGS)
ii. Cheques and Demand Drafts

b. For International Payments:

International payments under UCP (Uniform Customs and Practices for Documentary Credit) can be accepted in the following modes:
i. International Wire Transfer, Bank Transfer, Credit Transfer (all forms of Electronic Fund Transfers)
ii. Letter of Credit (LC)
iii. Note: Delivery terms offered as per INCOTERMS: (a) Free On Board (FOB) (b) Ex-Works (ExW), & (c) Cost, Insurance & Freight (CIF)


1. I love your furniture designs and want to order. What should I do next?

Ordering with FurnitureRoots is incredibly easy. Follow the below simple set of steps:

a. Choose products you wish to buy on our website or on our alibaba profile or send us an query and we will revert you with our product offers

b. On our website, you can note the item codes of chosen items and send the list to us OR, easier still, simply press 'Add to Cart' button which appears when you hover the mouse pointer over an item
c. Submit cart. Upon your pressing Submit, your cart information is received by us
d. Subsequent to receiving your product cart, we provide you all relevant information on products, including prices
e. Once you are finalize your order, we will have a quick call and complete the order process
f. For international orders we need a minimum order of 20-ft FCL Container (Full Container Load) though you can buy mix and match items from our catalog
g. For 20-ft container we need at least 28-30 CBM (cubic meters dimensionally) goods and 40-ft normal and 40-ft HQ the requirement will be 58-60 CBM & 68-70 CBM, respectively.

2. What is your policy regarding sampling of Custom-Designed Furniture? 

We try our best to provide you with a wide range of beautifully designed products, with many designs that are one-of-a-kind. But we know the Designer's itch only too well!

So in the instance our existing designs do not provide you with the pinnacle of contentment so important for you as a buyer of highly designed products then we can put your mind to rest by providing you with our Bespoke Designs services.

Under FurnitureRoots' Bespoke Designs we customise furniture to your exact design and specifications. With Bespoke Designs services you get the choice (and the feeling of absolute contentment it comes with!) of getting custom-made products that not only match your project's theme perfectly but also the ability to get products designs that are not constrained by limits of reality!

In relation to sampling of Custom-Made designs, please note:

a. Preparation of a sample needs ~15 days from the time we start processing your design
b. Given that sampling requires significant additional effort and, in the rare instance it does not result in an order, we may charge a market rate + an additional premium for one-time production, subject to our discretion
c. Note that we do not levy any sampling charges for samples that result in successful orders

Note: For custom-designed products, both Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) as well as Minimum Order Value (MOV) standards will have to be satisfied.

3. Can I cancel my order prior to production? If for any reason you wish to cancel your order, don't fret! Instead simply call us within 48 hours of your order and we will cancel your order. No questions asked! No charges levied!

Please note that given the customized nature of our work we will not be able to cancel an order after 48 hours of receiving the order. This is because once your order goes into processing all inputs (raw materials, fabrics, base etc.) specific to your order would have been put into / consumed in production.

1. Can I pay a visit to your factory? Yes. You are welcomed to visit our factory at any chance. Besides showing you around our factory, we can also help you with booking hotel, picking up at the airport, etc.

2. May I get a cheaper price? Discounts will be considered depending on the number of containers ordered and prepaid orders.

3. How often can you update us on the product manufacturing after my order is confirmed? We are delighted to deal with customers who take interest in the process performed by us for their products. We can give daily updates to the customers about their products right from the day order is confirmed to shipment loading day.
