Located in the coastal city-Penglai, Shandong Huiyang Group is an enterprise mainly dealing in shipbuilding, aquatic products processing and sales, deep-sea fishing.
Since 1990, the Group has engaged into deep-sea fishing, and now owns more than 20 boats including squid fishing boats, tuna fishing boats, and boats catching both saury and squid, catching year-round in the international ocean. The catch of saury has topped in China for six consecutive years and increased year by year.
The Group has 18 modern processing plants of aquatic products with the annual processing capacity of over 60,000 tons, processing 2,000 varieties like squid, mackerel, spanish mackerel, salmon, tuna, shrimps and crabs, shellfish and the seasoned products. There are 8 cold storages with the capacity of 120,000 tons. All the processing plants have passed ISO9001, ISO10002, ISO10015, ISO14001, IFS certification, EU registration (3700/02805 and 3700/02604), BRC, OHSAS18001, HACCP, MS, HALAL, CNAS and prepared food factory registration. The Group has declared more than 270 patents, and 30 authorized patents.
The company has the qualification to export products, and the overseas markets have covered dozens of countries and regions. The company has built good cooperative relationships with some famous Japanese companies, such as KYOKUYO, MARUBENI (138 in Fortune Global 500), MITSUI (245 in Fortune Global 500), ITOCHU (223 in Fortune Global 500), NOSUI, Hachinohe Kanzume and Seven-eleven. It also has started a stable cooperative relationship with Clearwater Seafoods (Canada), Red Chamber and Aquastar (USA).
