Dried organic BAY LEAVES
Whole dehydrated bay leaves.
The subtle and penetrating aroma of bay leaf develops the flavours in legumes, vegetable soups and cooked vegetables. The leaves, dried, lose the slightly bitter taste and acquire a sweeter and pleasant flavour.

Suggestions for Use
Bay tree is used all over the world to season dishes of every kind: stews, stuffed dishes, soups, marinades and sauces. Bay leaves, also when dehydrated, do not lose the aroma during the course of cooking and, thanks to their intense flavour, with just one leaf it is possible to infuse a dish for 4-5 people. Remove the whole leaves before serving the meal.

How it is made?


THE ORIGIN OF INGREDIENTS
Dehydrated organic Bay Leaves is grown from INTEGRAL FARMING, in the fields of our Farm. Raw materials are all certified Organic, of local Italian origin. The cultivation system of Integral Farming enhances natural growth of vegetables and herbs in open field, nourished by the only energy of sun and the nutrients of soil. Aromatic herbs are cultivated according to seasonality and harvested during their balsamic period. Organic basil is processed by hand, a few hours after harvested in our fields.

OUR COMPANY
Greens are grown in our Farm SAN PIO X Az. Agr. dal 1708, according to the principles of INTEGRAL FARMING: a sustainable and circular system. Sun is the energy for production, while soil nourishes plants (without pesticides or chemicals), that grow up rich in taste, nutrients and antioxidants. This system is sustainable and circular: vegetables are harvested in full ripening, in the proper season, and earth receives back what we take.
Raw materials are processed by hand, with an exclusive DEHYDRATION METHOD, improved in a long years’ experience. Vegetables are drained out the water, in order to concentrate their nutrients and avoid degradation of the product, keeping it “always fresh” as just picked up from the field. Then, different ingredients are combined into flavourful recipes, developed in collaboration with Gregori Nalon, Italian Chef & Cooking Strategist.
