 Design Specification of Cyclone Plate Dust Removal and Desulfurization Equipment


Main working principles and technical features:
Swirl plate tower is usually cylindrical tower body, with swirl plate inside the tower. When working, the flue gas moves from the bottom of the tower. Due to tangential inlet of the tower, especially the guiding function of the tower plate blade, the flue gas rotates and rises. The liquid flowing down the plate is sprayed into fog drops on the tower plate. The droplets are driven by the air flow to rotate, and the centrifugal force generated enhances the air contact thrown onto the tower wall and flows down the wall to the next layer of the tower plate, and is atomized by the air flow again for the gas-liquid contact. As mentioned above, the liquid can be separated effectively after fully contacting with the gas to avoid entrainment of mist and foam, and its gas-liquid load is more than twice that of the common tower plate. Because the liquid layer on the tray is thin and the porosity is large, the pressure drop is low, and the pressure drop is about half lower when the same effect is achieved. Therefore, the comprehensive performance is better than the common tray. External circulation pipe into the wall, circulating fluid by filter by atomizing nozzle in the vortex is formed on the uniform distribution of droplets and the good contact with flue gas, formed the great phase contact interface, the soluble acid salt or precipitation reaction with SO2 fully formed (depending on the selected desulfurizer and), at the same time, the larger dust particles under the action of centrifugal force is removed, small dust particles by droplets collision with the interception, and multiple diffusion effect such as brown and condensed into larger dust particles and be left to the tower wall, dirty after clear grey cast into the heavy grey pool.
Because of the good gas-liquid contact condition in the tower, the SO2 in the gas is absorbed by the alkaline liquid (desulfurization) effectively. The swirl plate tower also has good dust removal performance. The dust particles in the gas are adhered to the swirl plate and removed by water mist. In addition, the dust particles and fog droplets are adhered to and removed after being thrown to the tower wall by centrifugal force.


 


Main technical features of swirl plate tower:
1. Small area, less investment;
2. The annual operating cost of dust removal is approximately equal to the electricity charge of the water pump, and the increased operating cost of the equipment is mainly the cost of desulfurization agent.
3. High dust removal and desulfurization efficiency, dust removal efficiency is more than 99%, desulfurization efficiency can reach more than 90%;
4. Hemp stone is used as the main material, stainless steel water pipe is used for the water supply pipe, and the service life of the dust remover is long;
5. The resistance of dust removal and desulfurizer is small, and the resistance is 800~1200Pa;
6. Low requirements for water quality, dust removal and desulfurization water can be recycled to achieve high desulfurization efficiency and low operation cost;
7. Industrial waste alkali, waste water and lime can be used for desulfurization to reduce operating costs.
8. The liquid inflow is small, and the general gas-liquid ratio is about 1 L/m3. According to the actual design, it is 0.6-3L /m3.
