It can remove microbiological and particulate matter from the gases in the breathing circuit other than obsorb the heat and humidity from Patient's exhalation gas for the needs of inhalation temperature and humidity. That is in order to reach basic pasive humidification therapy.

The product has a sampling port for gas analysis.
