Product Description
WHAT IS PLA?
PLA, also known as polylactic acid or polylactide, is a thermoplastic made from renewable resources such as corn starch, tapioca roots or sugar cane, unlike other industrial materials made primarily from petroleum.
PLA has good machanical properties, low shrinkage and is competent to the application of most synthetic plastics, also it's widely used in the production of package materials, disposable tableware, household electrical appliance shell, fiber, 3D supplies etc.
Because PLA derives from renewable plant resoures but not the petroleum-based traditional plastics, so it can truely realize energy-saving and enviromental protection and PLA is considered to be the most promising new "ecological material".
After fermentation by microorganisms, lactic acid will be extracted, then PLA will be produced through a process of refining, dehydration polymerization, high temperature pyrolysis and final polymerization. PLA has excellent biodegradable property.
After disposal, within one year, it can be degraded into carbon dioxide and water by microorganisms in the soil, and do no harm to our environment. PLA is a kind of aliphatic polyester with basic characteristics of general micromolecule materials.

OUR TAPIOCA STARCH BIO RESIN (DL-E1, DL-F1, DL-I1)
1. DL-I1 is biobased resin, light smell of starch, no irritation and can be biodegraded into CO2 , water and biomass during at least 3 years in compost soil. Product’s properties are nearly the same of those of the conventional products from fossil polymers. It doesn’t need to change the manufacturing system to convert these products.

2. DL-F1 is biobased resin which certified as “OK-biobased” by Vincotte/TUV following testing standard ASTM D6866. The eco-friendly
product is beige pellet, light smell of starch, no irritation and can be biodegraded into CO2 , water and biomass during at least 2 years in compost soil. Product’s properties are nearly the same of those of the conventional products from fossil polymers. Processability is stable in normal HDPE or LDPE blowing machine.
