Fortrise Diosil
The waterproofing additive for concrete Fortrise Diosil is a finely dispersed dry mixture consisting of silicon dioxide, a plasticizing complex and active auxiliary additives. The principle of operation of the waterproofing additive Fortrise Diosil is its reaction with calcium hydroxide and its binding into difficult-to-dissolve chemically resistant compounds (crystallohydrates). The resulting compounds fill the pores, capillaries and microcracks of concrete, reducing the water throughput even in the presence of high hydrostatic pressure. The Fortrise Diosil additive is also a plasticizing additive (increasing the workability grade to P5 according to the Abrams cone), so the use of additional plasticizers is not required in most cases. The Fortrise Diosil additive does not contain components that contribute to the corrosion of steel reinforcement and does not harm the environment and human health.

The waterproofing additive for concrete Fortrise Diosil is a universal multifunctional additive and allows you to solve the following tasks*:

- increase the grade of concrete for water resistance by 5 or more steps relative to the control composition. Waterproofing occurs throughout the entire volume of prefabricated and monolithic concrete and reinforced concrete structures at the production stage. The use of the Fortrise Diosil additive allows you to refuse additional waterproofing of concrete / monolithic products/structures after gaining strength. At the same time, the destructive effect on concrete from aggressive media is minimized: alkalis, acids, sewage, ground and salt water. - increase the brand of frost resistance by 5 or more steps relative to the control composition; - increase the strength of concrete by 40% or more of the control composition without technological changes in the process of preparing the concrete mixture and the amount of cement; - increase the tensile strength of concrete during bending (class Btb) by 53% or more of the control composition without additives; - increase the sulfate resistance of products; - save the amount of cement from 15 to 25% (with the same mobility of mixtures);
- increase the mobility of the mixture from P1 to P5 with an increase in strength; - get 100% normalized concrete strength for 3-7 days of hardening under normal conditions;
- to obtain high-strength concretes of class B60 and higher with minimal cement consumption and high mobility.

Packaging, storage and transportation:
Polypropylene bags with a polyethylene liner. It is transported by any means of transport (non-dangerous cargo). The Fortrise Diosil additive is non-flammable, fire-and explosion-proof, when introduced into the concrete mixture, it does not change the toxic and hygienic characteristics. Store in unopened original packaging in a dry room on pallets.

Application of the additive:
The Fortrise Diosil additive can be introduced into the concrete mixture in dry form together with cement and aggregates in one of the following ways: automated units for the introduction of dry additives for concrete, by adding sand to the feed line (belt conveyor), manually directly into the mixer when dosing dry components.
There is also a second method of introducing an additive. It consists in the preliminary dissolution of the dry additive in water at the rate of 1 : 1 by weight. It is necessary to perform such dissolution in clean containers by mechanical mixing (drill, mixer, etc.). This method is well suited for introducing an additive on a construction site into a concrete mixer or concrete truck. The resulting aqueous solution can be stored for up to several months in a closed container, sheltering from direct sunlight. Before direct introduction into the concrete mixture, it is necessary to re-mix mechanically.After the introduction of the additive into the concrete mixture, it is recommended to ensure sufficient mixing time for its uniform distribution in the mixture. The mixing time is also selected by the consumer based on the conditions of the technology. It is important to take into account that the Fortrise Diosil additive is also an effective plasticizer, so it is necessary to provide for a reduction in the water-cement ratio in the mixture by about 10-20% (depending on the dosage and/or the required mobility of the mixture).
The effectiveness of the additive for concrete directly depends on the chemical composition and quality of cement and aggregates.
