Name of the additive | Hyperplasticizer Carboxyl PK-2 (U) The additive is one of the types of additives Carboxyl PC-2 and is produced on its basis. |
Description of the additive | Carboxyl PK-2 (U) is a superplasticizing and super water-reducing additive with the effect of accelerating the concrete hardening process in accordance with GOST 24211-08. The additive is intended for use in all types of concrete and reinforced concrete, including with the use of prestressed reinforcement. This additive is made from polycarboxylate polymers and a complex strength gain accelerator. It is available only in liquid form with a solution density of 1.2 g / cm3. The additive works most effectively with additive -free cements and cements of groups 1 and 2. Characteristics of the effectiveness of the additive: - increasing the mobility of the concrete mixture from P1 to P5, spreading the cone to 60 cm, depending on the fraction of a large aggregate; -reducing the time or completely abandoning the vibration compaction of the mixture (allows you to make self-compacting concrete); - reducing the amount of mixing water from 20% and above; - increasing the compaction coefficient of the concrete mixture; - the possibility of saving up to 20-25% of cement while reducing the water- cement ratio of the mixture; - reduction of time and energy costs for heat and humidity treatment; - increase of frost resistance and water resistance of products. |
Documentation | TU 5745-008-13453677-2015, The products comply with sanitary standards: Sanitary and epidemiological conclusion No. 1-T-36pr of May 25, 2015 The products are not subject to mandatory certification. |
Compliance with the norms | GOST 24211-2008 (Table 1. Section 1, sub-paragraphs 1.1.1, 1.2.1 and 1.4. Section 2, sub-paragraphs 2.1.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6) |
Recommended dosages | The dosage of the additive is carried out according to the liquid substance, it is not necessary to transfer it to the amount of dry additive! The range of recommended dosages: 0.5-1.5% by weight of cement. For self - compacting concrete mixes, a dosage of up to 2-2.5% is possible. Other dosages are possible. The optimal dosage is determined by checking the effectiveness of its administration in accordance with GOST 30459. |
Application | The additive Carboxyl PK-2 (U) is recommended to be introduced into the concrete mixture together with water (with the last part of it) or pre-mixed with mixing water. Do not add to the dry mixture. After being introduced into the concrete mixture, it is recommended to ensure sufficient mixing time for an even distribution of the additive in the mixture. The mixing time is also selected by the consumer based on the conditions of the technology, but not less than 1 minute. The effectiveness of the additive for concrete directly depends on the chemical composition of cement and aggregates. When changing the inert or binding agents of the concrete mixture, it is recommended correction of the composition of the mixture in the laboratory. |

Guaranteed storage period | Store in the closed original packaging, protecting from direct sunlight at a temperature from -10 °C to +35 °C. When freezing, ensure slow thawing and thorough mixing with further testing of the effectiveness of the additive in laboratory conditions. The shelf life is at least 12 months. from the date of manufacture (see the date in the quality certificate). After the expiration of the warranty period, the additive Carboxyl PK-2 (U) must be tested for compliance with the requirements of the current technical specifications. In case of compliance, it can be used without restrictions |
