As to the corrosion problem we do not allow sea water into the engine as a coolant is used. The radiator has been designed to use sea water to cool the coolant. This insures the longevity of the engines. (8 to 10 years for the European engines) you do not have to replace heads every few years. In other words we have created A RELIABLE and AFFORDABLE Diesel Outboard Motor.

For our European 60 to 150hp Klaxon Diesel Outboard Motors we use a German manufacturer (founded in 1880) of diesel engines, based in Bavaria, Germany. Especially known for its small, lightweight and robust engines, the engines are mainly used in all kinds of small construction machinery, generators or pumps. There is a 36 months warranty for the new European engine .
