Use Of Sunflower Oil

Sunflower Oil tends to be less widely known as a nutritious ingredient when compared to its popular counterparts coconut oil and olive oil. However Refined Sunflower Oil is a rich source of omega fatty acids, namely oleic acid – a monounsaturated fat (also known as Omega-9). A diet rich in high-oleic acid from sunflower oil has also been positively associated with lowering LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides.

Light in texture and taste, our Refined Sunflower Oil can be used as a cooking pantry staple as well as for skincare.

1. In baking recipes calling for butter – Sunflower Oil makes a good alternative as it has a subtle flavor and keeps cakes moist!


2. Use it as a carrier oil for homemade cosmetics. Sunflower Oil is high in Vitamin E so it is great for your skin.


3. Sunflower Oil works as an under-eye moisturizer! Apply a small amount at night with a cotton ball, and let it absorb as you sleep.


4. Use Sunflower Oil as a scalp & hair treatment: Apply to your scalp and gently massage, then wrap in a hot towel and allow to penetrate for up to an hour. Shampoo thoroughly.


5. Sunflower Oil has a high smoke point, and with its neutral flavor it is ideal for sautéing, stir-frying and even deep-frying for those who occasionally dabble in it.

We Offer Different Types Of Sunflower Oil

•  Crude sunflower oil. It is produced as a result of pressing sunflower seeds without further processing. It has a pleasant smell and taste. Mainly used for further processing in the manufacture of food products.


• Non-refined sunflower oil. It is made of crude oil after settling and filtration. Sometimes freezing is used to preserve transparency. Substantially all the vitamins and minerals are preserved, it is used for salads, eating in raw state. Non-refined sunflower oil is not recommended for frying (strong foaming, fumes, and may form harmful volatile compounds).


• Refined deodorized sunflower oil. It passes more steps of refining as compared to non-refined (cleaning by water, oxidation, and removal of the harmful contaminants by hot dry steam (deodorization)). Refined oil is intended for the preparation of fried, baked dishes, baking (doesn’t foam, does not fume).


• Refined deodorized freezeout sunflower oil. It passes the process of freezing out (cooling followed by removal of waxy compounds). Freezeout refined sunflower oil is the purest, light, almost odorless. It is used for the preparation of fried, stewed, baked dishes, baking (doesn’t foam, does not fume).Product Description
