Arabica coffee, also known as coffee and tea, usually lives and grows well in mountainous areas with altitudes from 1000m to 1500m. The coffee tree has large foliage, the leaves are oval in shape and dark green in color. Coffee and tea trees when mature can be about 4-6m tall, there are also trees that can be up to 15m tall depending on the variety and growing conditions of the tree.
Arabica is a high-quality coffee because it is characterized by its attractive aroma, and especially attractive coffee taste, creating an expensive coffee. Compared to Robusta, Arabica is much more popular, in the world Arabica is also grown with a total output of 70% of total production, the rest is Robusta coffee. However, in Vietnam, Arabica is less commonly grown coffee.
Arabica is a type of coffee that likes to live in high places and needs a lot of rain. The plant can also tolerate low temperatures, a temperature of 15-24°C is considered ideal for coffee and tea. Arabica is usually grown in places with an altitude of 1300 - 1500m above sea level, and can even be grown at an altitude of 2800m. Arabica coffee will give seeds after about 7 years of planting.
