AGAR POWDER
Agar powder, also known as jelly powder, is a widely used ingredient in baking recipes. This is a 100% natural food, of plant origin, extracted from red algae, with the ability to bind and bind food. After being purchased, red algae will go through a production process that includes steps: boiling, filtering, removing water, and drying. Then it will be ground into a powder, packaged and marketed with a product called Agar powder.
USAGE
How to make watermelon jelly
- Put the agar powder in a small bowl, pour in the water and stir with your hands to dissolve the powder evenly. Then, put a small pot on the stove, pour the agar powder mixture into the 130g sugar and bring to a boil.
- Watermelon, cut into small pieces, remove all seeds and puree in a blender. Next, put the watermelon puree through a sieve and get the juice.- Finally, pour watermelon jelly into the mold, cover with cling film and place in the refrigerator to enjoy gradually.
- Pour watermelon juice into a pot of boiling agar powder, cook while stirring, and leave for about 2 minutes, then turn off the heat.
How to make coffee jelly
- Soak the grated coconut in boiling water for about 15 minutes, then use a sieve to extract the juice and discard the residue. Pour agar powder into a bowl, add 2 liters of water and stir well.
- Put the pot on the stove, bring the agar powder mixture to a boil, when the water boils, reduce the heat, stir well and skim off the foam. Then, divide the agar powder in half into 2 equal pots.
- Next, put sugar and coffee into pot 1, stir until the sugar and coffee are completely dissolved, season to taste and then remove. Put sugar and coconut milk in pot 2, stir well and season to taste, then turn off the heat.
- Pour 1 layer of coffee jelly below the mold, when frozen, add another layer of coconut jelly on top. When the jelly is completely frozen, put it in the refrigerator and take it out to enjoy.
