Whole Nutmegs + Nutmeg Powder Bottle
The spice nutmeg (Myristicafragrans) is derived from the seed of a tropical evergreen tree (family Myristicaceae). If you use it in a small amount, it adds a lovely, delicate flavor to drinks, spice blends, desserts, and fish dishes. We produce this bottled nutmeg powder by grinding the nutmeg nut after taking it out of the shell. This Sri Lankan nutmeg is both organic and fair trade and delightfully fresh.

Nutmeg and mace are the main two products. Oils are extracted from both nutmeg and mace. Powdered nutmeg and mace are used in curry powders.
Nutmeg and mace are mainly used for culinary purposes to flavor curries and other food products, such as confectionaries and bakery products. It is also used in the preparation of beverages and drinks.
