Probiotics are living microbial cells, potentially they are being used in aqua culture. They help in improving the growth, immunity & reproduction in marine animals. This product function by acting as nutrient source, providing helathy gut microbes for better digestion, modulating the immune system and increasing the immune response against pathogenic bacteria.

 

Mode of Action

 

Feed contains adequate amounts of microbes beneficial to organism which modify the gut microfloraand replace harmful microbes with beneficial ones. The effect is multi pronged by populating the gut, these exogenous bacteria compete with pathogens, preventing their adhesion to the intestinal wall, limited access to nutrients and secreting antibacterial substances such as organic acids. In terms of poromoting growth, the proliferation of friendly microbes which increases bioavailability of nutrients in the gut leading to improved digestive processes and nutrient utilization.
