ABOUT US
Sheila Malmanis is a licensed aesthetician, and a former L.P.N., where she was licensed in the state of Tennessee. She has been married to her soulmate now for 31 years. A mother, a grandmother and great grandmother of two, she loves to spend time with her family, cruise, play golf, tennis, loves to cook and enjoys writing poetry. Sheila received her initial training for Aesthetics in Langhorn, PA in 1993. Her love for skincare, new technology and technical ingredients, encouraged her to pursue her passion for skincare and proceed with the development of DERMA MD®, founded in 2001 and based in Arizona.
Sheila has 30+ years of sales and marketing experience, and was sole owner of her aesthetic salon in 1994, regional manager for a former skincare company, promoted to Vice President of the same company prior to starting her own line of DERMA MD skincare. Sheila has lectured with Age Management Medical Group, Advanced Aesthetic Education Group, schools and other training seminars. The conferences are for both physicians and skin care professionals, in which they obtain CME credits. She also lectures at
multiple aesthetic conferences throughout the United States, and internationally. She has been published in the UK Medical Cosmetic Journal and Healthy Aging Magazine, and has sat on the advisory board of Healthy Aging Magazine. Members of NAPW (National Association of Professional Women), Who’s Who of Cambridge eWomen Network™, and the United Aesthetics Organization (UAO).
