POP Rivets for Low Height Clamping
This item allows multiple pieces of base materials to be fastened easily and quickly on a single side of the working surface. Compared with the conventional fastening methods of welding and self-tapping screws, these rivets make assembly more efficient and reduce the costs involved. In addition to their ease of handling even for first-time users, you will also find them easy to work with for long periods of time as only lightweight fastening tools are required. Moreover, the cross-section of POPRivets allows for the automation of your assembly line. This is an environmentally friendly fastening method that does not generate any electric sparks or dust. Pull-through mandrel (PTM) rivets: These rivets are nearly flat on both sides (buckling/flange), allowing for greater versatility in your design. They are used for countersinking both sides (buckling/flange) of the lower hole of the workpiece. The mandrel head passes through the rivet during fastening, which eliminates the need to recover the head. The fastening power varies depending on the conditions of use (e.g., the workpiece's material, plate thickness, and lower hole diameter). BHM rivets: These rivets have a specially shaped mandrel head that can be detached during fastening to keep the buckling height low. *BHM rivets are designed according to our client's specifications. The product name, dimensions, and fastening power vary depending on the conditions of use (e.g., the workpiece's material, plate thickness, lower hole diameter, etc.). BHM rivets have larger workpiece hole diameters than standard rivets.
SMH rivets: These rivets are designed with a thin mandrel head to keep the buckling height low without having to detach the mandrel head during fastening. SMH rivets have larger workpiece hole diameters than standard rivets. *SMH rivets are designed according to our client's specifications.
