Ultra heat resistant silicone potting material powder for Ceramic Cement Resistors
CB-480 is a white powdery silicone material for potting.
This product can be used mainly as potting resin for resistors.
This is used by major fixed resistor manufacturers.
By mixing this product with a solvent, it becomes a liquid form that is easy to handle and pour into ceramic cases.
After thorough drying, the potting surface is very beautiful and no cracks exist.
With this product, you can densely fill your silicone material and voids and cracks will not occur. It is also applicable to severe heat cycle tests.

1.To 100 of CB-480, add 11 of xylene and 11 of isopropyl alcohol, and stir well.Be sure to use a weight ratio.
2.Pour it into a container such as a case.
Divide the mixture into several portions and pour it into the mold for a beautiful finish.
To divide the mixture, let it stand for 30 minutes before pouring the next portion.
3.Air dry at room temperature to remove solvent thoroughly. If a large amount of solvent remains, it may cause swelling.
4.Curing should be done under the specified curing conditions.
CB-480 is a powder product made from silica and silicone. When mixed with xylene and IPA, it becomes liquid and has excellent processability.
It is characterized by high hardness, thermal conductivity, low expansion, and high heat resistance.
Ideal as potting material for electrical applications such as ceramic wirewound resistors, cement resistors, resistors for electric power, ceramic cement resistors, etc.
