V-roll is used in conveyor lines that carry steel pipes.
Several V-rolls are lined up, and the steel pipe passes through the V-shaped part.
It is a roller that is indispensable for transporting in steelworks.
Many V-rolls are installed on the conveyor line to move steel pipes.
Since V-roll drives, there is a key groove in the center of the roll.
Originally, urethane was lined on the iron core, but due to cost reduction, it became a single product made from MC nylon.
However, since it is inferior in abrasion resistance, and considering cutting down costs while maintaining the good properties of urethane (abrasion resistance), we had developed V-roll, a single urethane rubber product.
This product has high hardness (about JIS-A 99, JIS-D 70), and it is as hard as resin when touched. However, since it is a urethane rubber, it possesses elasticity, and exhibits abrasion resistance for specifications that allow steel pipes to pass through.
Also, it can be repaired after service since it is a single urethane product.
