Uigedail is born from a blend of Whiskey aged for over 10 years in barrels that contained Bourbon and subsequently, after cutting, it is left to rest further in wooden barrels that previously contained Sherry. After maturation, the Whiskey is bottled without being cold filtered.
A Single Malt with a bright golden yellow color. The olfactory examination reveals a harmony of citrus aromas and brackish memories, peaty notes on a background of nuances of dried fruit.
On the palate it is a highly structured, dense and full-bodied distillate that represents the spearhead of Ardbeg production. A portentous and complex sip, characterized by an evident flavor of iodine and peat for true connoisseurs.
