Weichuang Buffered vinegar powder is an alternative for chemical preservatives. It’s a label friendly food safety ingredient with a balanced flavour profile designed to protect meat, poultry and processed fish products as well as deli salads from foodborne pathogens like Listeria monocytogenes.

3.How much will shelf life increase?
Shelf life depends on many factors including your raw material, production facilities, packaging ways, storage conditions,and pH. In most cases, decreasing your pH will greatly increase the effect of our product (a reduction of 1 in pH and can increase the effect of the preservative by 10x). Depending on these factors you would expect to double your shelf life or more.
4.How will your buffered powder affect the flavor profile of my product?
Based on your products ability to absorb flavor, we do not anticipate a flavor impact at the lower limit of the recommended usage level. We always recommend testing the final product to determine the optimal usage rate.
5.How can I add Weichuang solutions to my food product?
Most Weichuang products are available in dry and liquid variants. Depending on your production process, you can decide which product is most suitable for your application. For meat products, for example, a liquid product can be injected or added to the brine/marinade, whereas a dry product can be easily added to the spice mix.
