WHAT IS BIOLOGICAL PLASTIC?
Biodegradable plastic ( bioplastic ) is a material that is able to decompose into water, CO2 and biomass components under the
influence of the environment and microorganisms. With the goal of increasing the degradability of traditional (petroleum-based) plastics, starch is mixed with petroleum-based resins. The purpose of mixing is to reduce the petroleum composition, increase the
biodegradability of the compound product , thereby limiting the pollution from non-biodegradable plastic waste.

+ The composition includes 40% starch and 60% virgin PE plastic.
