Company Profile

Food waste is a pressing issue facing society. There are numerous causes of food waste, but one of the most unfortunate is when perfectly edible produce is thrown away due to size, blemishes, and overall “ugly” appearance.

Keum-Chae Min founded Zikooin Company to rescue wasted local produce and put it to use making juices, porridges, spreads, and other healthy products in 2017.

In 2019, we branched out to try to help reduce food waste by putting excess grain stocks to use, which led to the birth of our plant-based meat: UNLIMEAT. After entering the plant-based food business, we poured our hearts into developing a proprietary “protein compression” extrusion technology, creating a truly meat-like texture.

We’ve launched our products all over the world: in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Australia, and the US. We’re striving to become Asia’s No.1 plant-based meat company.

FAQ

1. Who are we?
UNLIMEAT is a compound word that combines the words ‘Unlimited’ and ‘Meat’: a plant-based meat with no limits on its appearance, taste, or how it’s cooked.

We offer five types of plant-based meat – Slices, Mince, Pulled polk, Burger Patties and Meatballs. UNLIMEAT products are made from textured soy and pea protein, cacao powder, coconut oil, and other natural ingredients and are further enriched with super foods such as lentils, chickpeas, and quinoa. Even the red coloring of our patties is derived from beet roots, while the juicy flavor comes from coconut oil.

Our signature product, UNLIMEAT Slice, not only suits well with Asian cuisine, but also with almost every cuisine like its name UNLIMEAT(unlimited meat). It has been used in popular, well-known restaurants such as Crystal Jade, Mott 32 in Hong Kong, and Master Chef in Dubai. UNLIMEAT suggests the best way to enjoy plant-based meat for sustainability all over the world.

2. What is our Mission?
“Make the Earth Cleaner and Healthier”

We aim to be a part of creating a sustainable food system that has a positive impact on the environment. UNLIMEAT is not only a plant-based product, but also a driver of innovation toward sustainable food systems. We believe that UNLIMEAT can make a difference in food governance and encourage more forward thinking food governance.

3.What can you buy from us?
