The Blue Marlin dried tuna roe (or simply Tuna Bottarga), which has a typical, firm and salty sea taste, is produced and packaged using the traditional methods of the fishermen of the island of Carloforte. Is grated at the time of order and packaged in 40g mason jar. It is ideal accompaniment for your first courses but is also excellent used to flavor appetizers.

BLUE MARLIN S.r.l. has been founded in 1996 with the purpose of producing and commercializing one of the typical Sardinian specialities: the Bottarga (sa Buttariga).
It consists of salted and dried mullet or tuna roe. It is produced and well appreciated al over the Mediterranean basin, it could be that the Arabs brought it to Sardinia during their conquering voyages; the Bottarga has been developing an increasing gastronomical and commercial interest either by the local people or by the many tourists and visitors that find our Island a valid destination where to go on holiday.
