In fact, if one might broadly say, the art of knitting has seen a subtle yet gradual transition towards the younger generations as of late. Knitting is a binding force that keeps the community, and family, connected under one art form. In fact, in some rural households even today, grandmothers, mothers and their daughters spending quality time together knitting. For newbies venturing into this artform, knitting can be a daunting task. Especially if one is not aware of the basics such as the different types of knitting needles and needle sizes.

Indskill(everyone’s private factory) - a handicraft manufacturing company that specializes in making products for the needle art and craft industry. Our products are hand-made and are made by skilled and talented artisans using natural wood who have honed their skills and talent after years of hard work and experimentation. The current production unit caters for the needs of the knitting industry making various products for knitters starting from knitting needles, wood and resin crochet hooks, yarn bowls, yarn swift, whorl drop spindles, wood needle cases, shawl pins, lucets, tatting shuttle, tapestry bobbin etc. Indskill products are mostly targeted for urban knitters and crafters who try to give a new dimension to the handknitting industry. We undertake OEM orders, Private Labelling, and customized products for clients located in various parts of the world.
Our products are:
a) Customized/Private Label- which means they are made as per the requirement of our client. We make proprietary products for our clients. This happens only because of the trust and relationship we have with our clients.
b) New and Innovative – We strive hard to adapt ourselves with the changing demand of the customers. Indskill tries to launchn new products that are unique in design and are useful.
c) Long lasting and useful – Eg – One of our product -Colored knitting needles are not only beautiful but has certain characteristics that make them unique. The size mentioned on the needles does not fade away with use. Indskill is open to new product suggestions, distributorship and collaboration with YouTubers and influencers.
What do people at Indskill DO after the production is complete?
The major step that most of the manufacturer’s missed our due to time constraints is Quality assurance. Though QC is done at every step when the product moves from one process to another. However, the final stage QC is the most important one. Our QC expert has a handbook wherein all the tests to be performed are mentioned. Listing the common test from the handbook:-
1. Make sure that the packing is performed in a closed-door room.
2. Labelling and branding of product packing are as per the requirements.
3. Verification of final product with the pre-production sample.
4. Verification of whether the shipping boxes are optimized. (One of the major reasons for high freight costs is the
non-optimization of shipping boxes)
5. The product should be free from scratch. The surface should be clean.
6. Product padding, rubber pads etc should be present.
7. All the different parts of the products should be inserted in the same box.
8. The product should be cleaned with a soft cotton cloth before packing.
9. Proper markings and numbering should be done on the boxes.
10. The master carton packing should be easy to open from the customer’s perspective. The packing should not make it

1. Do you accept orders of amounts less than 1000 USD?

3. Is it possible to meet the people working at Indskill my private factory?
Definitely! We stand up for our words and commitment. We provide you with the access and credentials to our your production unit of the factory. You can see where and at what is the status of the order. Whom all are working on it and what all is happening. You can also talk live with our your people/employees as well, ask them about the progress etc.
We have never imported from India. How is importing from India different from buying anything locally?
The experience of buying directly from us sitting anywhere in the world is equivalently the same as buying anything online from your own country. We have a bank account in most of the country, hence sending payment to us is as simple as transferring payment to your friends and family. We take care of logistics, we take care of import clearance as well. Give it a shot and experience it nsidered a part of the business.
What is the production lead time?
Different products have a different lead-time. Yarn ball winders have a high lead time compared to crochet hooks. Let’s finalize the requirement first, we will share our timelines with you.
