Brief introduction:

Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) helps building materials apply more easily and perform better. They provide water retention and cohesiveness to mixtures. With special modification, it can be used to control thickening, water demand, workability, sag resistance, strength and other important properties of the final product.

It is widely used as thickener, adhesive, water preserving agent, film-foaming agent in building materials, industrial coatings, synthetic resin, ceramic industry, medicine, food, textile, agricultural, cosmetic and other industries.

Properties:

1. Water retention: The water retention will be enhanced, which is helpful with such problems as cement or gypsum construction material drying too fast and poor hardening or cracking.

2. Adhesivity: It can make mortar attach to base material better sincethe plasticity of mortar is enhanced.

3. Operationality: It can enhance the plasticity of mortar and improve the coating efficiency in construction projects

 

 

 

 HPMC for ETIS  

ETIFS/ETICS is a kind of thermal insulation structure which is installed on the surface of exterior wall. It can reduce the influence of thermal bridge and deformation stress on the base wall. Honghai products can give effectively improvement on the water retention, anti-stress cracking, open time, sag resistance, workability of the ETICS mortars.

 

HPMC for Skim Coat  

Skim coat (also named by Wall Putty) is a decorative and functional trowelling plaster material for interior or external wall construction. It’s function is to remove uneven defects on the surface of the base materials of wall, and eliminate the stress between different coating layers.

HPMC for Tile Adhesive & Grout 

The tile adhesive is physically mixed by cement, sand and accessories, and it is formulated differently in different countries or regions.
