The company was founded at the end of the nineteenth century by Arturo Archibusacci (the first on the right in the photo). Our ancestor was an enterprising Leghorn from a family of "oilers and charcoal burners" who moved to Canino and decided to focus on oil production. He rented various local oil mills including the historic one - owned by the Torlonia Princes - in La Ferriera, powered by water. He activated a series of productive commercial contacts, especially with Tuscany, which were the necessary prerequisite for the purchase in 1935 of the current oil mill in via del Boschetto, one of the first in the Viterbo area to be powered by electricity.
