Jaeger 1400S Series Silicone Fluids
A range of proprietary dimethyl polysiloxane fluids. They are available in a series of standard viscosities that range from 50 to 12,500 centistokes, depending on the molecular weight of dimethyl polysiloxane.
Resistant to diluted acids and bases and are generally non-corrosive to metals, rubbers and most
plastics.

Jaeger 1401S, 1405S, 1408S are sanctioned for incidental food contact under the NSF H1 Registration.

Advantages
Colourless and transparent and exhibits only slight changes in viscosity even over a wide range of temperatures.
They offer outstanding thermal, moisture and chemical resistance, as well as excellent dielectric properties.
Thermally and chemically stable indefinitely at 150°C in the presence of air. In inert atmosphere, similar stability is obtained up to temperatures of 200°C.
