Eleuthero, Siberian ginseng root
ELEUTEROCOCCUS ROOT
This plant are from the Araliev family, it looks like a shrub with dark fruits on it. They grow in the Far Eastern regions of Russia, as well as in China, South Korea and Japan. It often called Siberian ginseng or taiga root.
The medicinal plant is considered an adaptogen, which means that its constant use allows the human body to better cope with stress. Therefore eleutherococcus is widely used as a tonic, especially in old age or during recovery.
The eleutherococcus root helps:
a hypotension
has a tonic effect
improves the work of the cardiovascular system
with rheumatic heart disease
with mental and physical fatigue
increases potency
increases the body's resistance to viral diseases
with menopause and irregular menstrual cycle
reduces blood sugar
reduces the risk of developing cancer to almost zero
has a calming effect on the eyes and improves vision itself.
Also the eleutherococcus root is used at the initial stage of atherosclerosis, vegetative-vascular neurosis, to rinse damaged hair, for gum disease and stomatitis as a rinse.

The eleutherococcus root is contraindicated with the acute infectious diseases, heart disease, hypertension, nervous excitement and high temperature, after a heart attack.
