"Satsuma Kiriko" is a traditional Japanese glass craft made by cutting and polishing "color-covered glass", which is a colorless glass surface fused with colored glass.
Crystal glass containing 24-25% lead is used, and crystal glass containing 24-25% lead is used. Colored glass was welded to the surface of clear glass by about 1 to 2 mm. Satsuma Kiriko is characterized by the gradation “blur” that can be created between the clear glass and the colored glass because the colored glass covered is thick, but the color tone is light.
