Italian chocolate cantucci and orange cantucci Made in Italy by Scapigliati

Cantuccini Toscani IGP, also called 'cantucci', are dry biscuits typical of Tuscany. Cantuccini Scapigliati are made with the finest ingredients, choosing, as per the family recipe, not to use milk. To make the taste of Cantuccino Scapigliati unique, the dough contains wheat flour, sugar, almonds (whole and not peeled, as per tradition),chocolate, eggs, butter, honey, and a pinch of Volterra salt.

The Orange Cantucci Scapigliati are obtained by making loaves that are placed on baking tins and baked for about 25 minutes in a rotary oven at a temperature of 175°. The pastry chef personally monitors the entire baking process. As soon as they are taken out of the oven and still hot, the filoncini are prepared for the classic diagonal cut, which gives the typical shape of this Tuscan biscuit. Finally, they are packaged using an automatic weighing and packaging machine. In this way the cantucci, in their own packaging, retain over time all the goodness and fragrance of freshly baked biscuits.
