Fish meal, or fishmeal, is a commercial product made from both whole fish and the bones and offal from processed fish. It is a brown powder or cake obtained by rendering pressing the whole fish or fish trimmings to remove the fish oil. 

     The major use of fish meal is as a high-protein supplement in aquaculture feed. 
     The fish meal is characterized by its stable quality, freshness, fragrance, high protein content, and its easiness to decompose, digest and absorb. 

     Good fish meal is processed by stewing, drying and crushing etc. Its quality index is up to or over the index of the national special class fish meal.

 

 

Fish Meal is the ground and dried protein residue remaining after fat has been extracted in the normal rendering process. Processing: Fish is exposed to a maximum disc temperature of
