FAQ
1.What's the difference between aluminum 6063 T5, aluminum 6063 T6, and aluminum 6061 T6?
A: The 6000 series aluminum alloy is not as strong as the 2000 series and 7000 series, but it has good corrosion resistance, good weldability, and easy forming. 6000 series alloys are represented by 6061 and 6063. 6061 is used in various structures such as towers and cranes in Europe or the United States. It has very good corrosion resistance and almost no anti-rust treatment T5 or T6 means heat-treatment level, which is related to the hardness.
For the same product, T6 is better than T5. For most products, T5 is enough, and T6 is better. For hollow products, it would have a risk of out-of-shape when you insist on T6.
Aluminum 6063 or 6061 means the name of aluminum alloy. For the same product, aluminum 6061 is stronger than 6063. For all products, it would have a risk of a worse surface when you insist on 6061. If you insist on using 6061, and also request for surface beauty, you may get a higher price.
Practically speaking, in the general industrial field, if the shape is hollow and not a regular circle or square, we recommend not to specify the material 6061. Although 6061 is only one number behind 6063, the difficulty of squeezing is very different. The cost is very high, and coupled with the T6 process, it is easy to cause deformation.
2. What is aluminum anodized finish?
A: We can say that aluminum alloy in nature, through the action of time and air, will produce an oxide film, but the time required cannot be determined, and the distribution of the oxide film is uneven, long-term oxidation and erosion of the inside of the aluminum part, causing the aluminum part Fundamental damage. Aluminum anodized finish is to pass current, potion, and time, similar to forced oxidation, so that the pores of aluminum products produce a uniform film on the surface. This film not only has a protective effect, but is also resistant to wear and tear. Dyeing can be added in the process. It is of great help to industrial applications.
3. If I pay for a mold, does it belong to me? Do you promise you'll not use it for other companies?
A: Yes, once you pay for a mold, it belongs to you, and we promise that we only use it for the order from your company. By the way, we only charge the mold fee once unless you revise the design for the profile.
4. Can you do fabrication in house ?
