USAGE

1. Landscape - Lava chips insulates the soil from heat and cold. Studies show that lava chips is more effective in retaining
moisture in topsoil, than wood mulch products. It helps better regulate moisture in the ground and will not rot, decay or be
subject to color fade like wood mulches, making it a permanent mulch replacement.

2. Water Filter - Lava chips can be used as a
filter media in filters and also directly in tanks. It helps to reduce ammonia and nitrite from Water. The exceptional highly
porus structure of this material allows optimal conditions where the nitrifying bacteria, such as nitrosomonas and nitrobar, can
colonise and keep the aquarium.

3. Drainage - Lava chips porosity allows for better drainage. It ensures water does not pool
between the rocks or under them, which prevents fungal growth keeping the yard healthy.
