Q2. What exactly are ceramic coatings?
It's a silicone dioxide based coating layer which forms a transparent and semi permanent protection on top of the clear coat to maintain its glossyness and protect your clear coat against elements such as the sun's UV rays, tar deposit, bird drops, acid rain, and industrial fallout, break dust, and tree sap.
Q3. Why should I apply a ceramic coating on my car if I can just apply a regular $10 wax, what's the difference?
Carnauba wax is a type of organic plant and it has less protection against contamination. In contrast, ceramic coating provides excellent protection against elements such as the sun's UV rays, tar deposit, bird po, acid rain, and industrial fallout, break dust, and tree sap. In addition, wax only provides 1 to 3 months of protection, but ceramic coating can last longer from 1 years to 3 years.
Q4. Can it be used on mate and satin paints?
Yes, thanks to advanced technology, you now are able to apply a ceramic coating, it is so easy to use that you don't need to rely on professional installation.
Q6. When do I need to reapply again?
If the hydrophobic effect degrades, please reapply the coating on top of the previous coating when necessary. Stack coating will enhance features, and make your car shiny and glossy than ever.
Q7. Do ceramic coatings have UV protection?
Yes, one of the main point of ceramic coating is to help prevent colors from fading and oxidation so the layer of silica base property on top of the clear coat can definitely protect against UV rays.
Q8. How to prevent high spots while applying ceramic coating?
If you follow the correct steps, you don't need to worry about high spots. If the coating has not been leveled out evenly, it will generate high spots which is kind of darkened spots that look like an oil stick on water. When the liquid flashes, please don't let it dry too long, typically within 3 minutes depends on the environment and humidity levels you work in.
Q9. How long does ceramic coating cure?
While the initial coating will ‘bond’ to the paint surface within 2 to 4 hours, it does take some time for the product to fully cure. For the better result, please avoid washing your coated car within 48 hours, and professional infrared curing lamp can help ceramic coating bonding tightly and quickly.
Q10. Is there anything that I absolutely need to do maintain the ceramic coating and the frequency should I follow ?
The ceramic coating is polymer resin, so the effects may start to degrade slowly over time but surely it diminishes by exposure to the sun's UV rays, acid rain, and other contaminants. So we will sugggest you replenish the form of protection by boosting with a silicon spray sealant like Aqua Coating Spray roughly every 2 to 3 months for optimal levels and the maximum durability.
Q11. What is the MOQ for OEM/ODM products?
Only 500 pieces are required to do OEM and ODM orders. We supply raw materials and provide private label services to companies with their own brands. Please get in touch with us for more business opportunities.
Q12. What is your sample policy?
We can suport 2-3 samples for free, but as it is dangerous goods, the courier cost is very high, say about USD 100-200 for 2kg parcels. And the freight cost need to be prepaid by customers.
