Description
An action shooting classic! The Swinger target is a challenging target used in USAPA and 3 Gun matches. If swinging cardboard isn’t enough, we have optional steel targets to shoot ‘on the fly’!

The Swinger Target is an assembly that allows a cardboard USPSA-type target to swing back and forth. We chose to use an industrial grade pillow block with greaseable bearings to give it an incredibly long life, and an incredibly long swing time! Grease the bearing a couple times a year and it should last indefinitely.

The moving force on the Swinger Target is a 25 pound counter weight. The position of the counter weight is adjustable to allow you to change the target response. It won’t be an incredible difference, but it will be noticeable and any variance increases challenge. The shooter starts the movement by shooting the included HEXALLOY 550 HEXPlate trigger plate activator.

This video shows the activator plate being shot with a shotgun.
Please note, the Swinger Target now comes with one HEXALLOY 550 HEXPlate activator plate as shown. You must buy your own 1″X2″ inch wood furring strips from the local hardware store to complete the target and have a surface to staple your cardboard targets to as shown in the picture.

Bullet testing
This is a real bullet shooting testing.
ArmStrong Target shows 0.05 inch depth from a 0.223 caliber rifles at 100 yards.he steel quality is good.
Competitor Target shows 2.13 inch from a 0.223 caliber rifles at 100 yards. The quality is quite low and not reliable.
Competitor Target is badly damaged from the caliber rifles. Low quality steel did not past the test, although they all looks the
same from appearance.
Competitor Target low cost steel was even penetrated by bullet. Do choose qualified AR500 steel target as ArmStrong Target !!!
