【Product details】

In order to avoid over-filtration and to bring out the true barley flavor, the traditional "atmospheric distillation" method is followed by "freezing point filtration," in which the original shochu is cooled to the freezing point.

It is aged for a certain period of time to create a rich flavor that is soft and pleasant to drink, even when served with hot water or over ice.

From 2006 to 2010, Fushigiya was awarded an honorable mention for five consecutive years at the Sake competition hosted by Kumamoto Regional Taxation Bureau.

From 2011 to 2013, Fushigiya was also awarded the highest 3-star rating by the International Taste Quality Institute (iTQi) for three consecutive years, and became the first Japanese barley shochu ever to receive the Crystal Award.
