green. Sivri has an average length of 8-15 cm without the stem and a diameter of 1-3 cm. TURKISH Sivri is the most grown pepper variety in
Turkey. There are several sub-varieties gown in different regions for different purposes.
LOBNA PEPPER: Grown in the Mersin-Antalya region, Lobna is a variety that stands out with its shiny, lush green colour. Lobna is very hot and
has a medium sized, sturdy body with an average diameter of 2-3.5 cm. This variety is slightly thicker and fleshier with an
average unit weight of 30-50 gr.
Charleston : Grown in the Mersin-Antalya region, Charleston is a fleshy variety with a thick and broad body. This sweet pepper comes in two
different colours: pale green and yellow. The average length is 10-18 cm without the stem and the diameter ranges between 1.5-3.5 CM
The Hot Pickle Pepper :Grown in the Mersin-Antalya region, this short and tough pepper has a distinctive hotness. Average unit weight ranges between 5-25
gr. The green variety is more common in Turkey however red varieties are also available. The Hot Pickle Pepper has an average
length of 5-10 cm without the stem and a diameter of 1-2.5 cm.
Hungarian Bell : production is concentrated at the Kumluca-Finike-Demre districts in Antalya. This sweet variety has a length of 6-9 CM.

yellow with a green stem and reaches lengths of 14-16 cm. Average unit weight ranges between 30-50 gr. Average stem diameter
ranges between 4-6 cm regardless of body length.
Chilli bell pepper :This dark green, fleshy and thin-skinned variety grows in the Gaziantep region of Turkey. It has a reputation of being one of the
hottest grown in the country. Average unit weight ranges between 30-45 gr, average length is between 6-9 cm and average stem
diameter is between 5-6 cm.
