Rich In Oleic Acid and Polyphenol Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil Moro Terre di Lidia Ogliarola for salads Bottle Glass 0.5L
Terre di Lidia, our main brand, embraces 100 hectares of Coratina and Ogliarola or Cima di
Bitonto olive groves.
From the Coratina cultivar, we obtain our Spineto brand, deep green olive oil with a spicy, bitter
flavour and an aroma of fresh-cut grass. While our Morò brand derives from the Ogliarola or Cima di Bitonto cultivar which has a golden yellow color and gentle, slight taste. The farm is situated in Southern Italy, close to Bari in the region of Apulia, and extends over several areas with different climates, temperatures, and altitudes. These olive groves start from near the Adriatic coast, with high temperatures and a wet climate, arriving at the foot of the Murge plateau, which lies at 400 meters above sea level, with low temperatures and a dry climate. These differences allow for a progressive harvest in parallel with the ripening of the olives, which means we can mill our fruit at the right stage of ripeness to then be processed within 24 hours, thus giving life to our olive oils.
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is furthermore available in a 0.5-liter glass of bottle packaging.
Moro is the name of the farm on which these olives are grown, as well as the trademark olive oil produced from the Ogliarola, a
typical variety of olives from the province of Bari in Italy’s southern region of Apulia. This oil is sweeter and lighter than the
Coratina olive oil, another very famous and popular variety from southern Italy.
