Ampelographic grape variety - A collection of plants, vegetatively propagated, with a relative constancy of hereditarily fixed signs and properties. With the entry into force of the new law "On Wine", all stages of production wines and cognacs, as well as raw materials for these drinks, fell under the most close attention, undergo mass control checks and meet the high standards of French winemaking.

Balzam LLC


The Balzam LLC was founded I 1967. In Soviet period the factory produced a wide range of vodkas, portwines, bitters and balzams, wich had the same quality as Riga's black balsam.



In 2006 the factory was entirely reconstructed: the new production hall was built, modern European equipment was bought and started up.



Some of facilities are unique: French device for electro-dialysis intended to stabilize wine. Only three companies in Russia have such a device. Balzam LLC is one of them.



In 2016 Balzam LLC launched the production of strong alcohol: vodka and cognac.



Balzam LLC also succeed in keeping the basic stuffing-technologies with the great experience are still working at the factory.
