Actually, the designation of jojoba oil as "oil" is completely misleading. As it is a wax with a very low melting point, it is often confused with oil. However, the chemically completely different structure of jojoba oil (jojoba wax) to all other oils makes it so unique. Jojoba oil is liquid at room temperature.
